Step.1 PRE filter

■  Removing the large dusts in the induced air (Possible to re-use after cleaning)

ㆍ  It is the representative 1st preprocessing filter made of diverse materials that removes the large dust particles in the induced air from outside,  or ventilation 

Step.2 HEPA filter

■  Removing 99.9% of fine polluted dust particles with the size of 0.3 μ m or larger

■ High-performance and high-efficiency filter

ㆍ  HEPA (=High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) filter was developed by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission to remove Sub-Micron particles,  and it is the filter with the performance that eliminates the minimum 99.97% of the particles with the size of 0.3 μ m or larger.

It is the high performance filter which is possible to remove various harmful 

substances such as yellow sand dust, mites, house dusts, fungi, and fine dusts  that creates allergic reactions. 

Step.3 Nano-silver photocatalytic filter

■  Removing diverse germs and viruses in the air such as staphylo\-coccus and colon bacillus, as well as diverse harmful substances including VOCs such as benzene, carbon tetrachloride and toluene

ㆍ  VOC and NOx in the air are completely decomposed by the oxidation-reduction reaction, through the electron and positive holes created by the light energy TiO ₂ , and there occurs the photocatalytic reaction that eliminates germs, at the same time.

ㆍ Photocatalyst itself can be used continuously without changing its property,  and it does not create the secondary environmental pollutants.

STEP.4 UV lamp (For AD-500 only)

■  99.9% of sterilizing power if radiated with the light, that is 1600 times stronger than the sunlight, in a close range for 5~10 minutes

Step.5 Activated carbon deodorization filter  (For AD-500 only)

■  Eliminating the odors such as cigarette smell and harmful gases

ㆍ  It eliminates diverse odors effectively as the odor molecules are adsorbed to the fine holes while the air is passing through the deodorization filter that is impregnated  with activated carbons
